We built StrideHer for you

Because women who run deserve more than a generic plan, a distant coach, and a spreadsheet. They deserve this.

Get Coaching

to do something different

6 years ago we set out

StrideHer was born because one hour a week traditional coaching, to us, just wasn't enough. I left a salary gym coaching job with a vision — higher touchpoint, more responsive, more personalized coaching built around the full complexity of a woman's body and life.

The women runners who needed coaching most weren't finding me in the gym. The one hour I saw them wasn't moving the needle. So I built something from the ground up that could actually show up for them every single day — something that didn't feel intimidating to step toward, and gave them more than what they even knew to ask for.

We saw an opportunity. Women who run were getting pieces of what they needed — but never the full picture, never the depth, and never the daily presence that actually creates change. As kinesiologists and run coaches who run ourselves, we knew what was possible. So we built it.
What we've been able to create through our clients, coaches, and ambassadors is only just getting started.

To create a powerful community of women helping women through accessible digital run coaching and race retreat experiences.

Our vision

To empower and educate women of the world to have autonomy over the way they train their bodies — for positive, lifelong, injury-free running.

Our mission

01 — Empowerment

Through every challenge, every stage of life, every race distance, and every comeback, there is a chance to shine. We help our women find it, build on it, and carry it forward. Not just for race day. For every hard training week, every life transition, and every moment of adversity that lies ahead. An empowered StrideHer woman doesn't just finish races, she carries that strength into everything around her and her training becomes a healthy habit that lifts her entire life up around her. At StrideHer its the human behind the athlete we foster.

Influence is nice. But science is the foundation. Every coaching decision we make is underpinned by research including the emerging women's health science that the broader athletic world is only just catching up to. Our degrees, certifications, and continued education aren't checkboxes, they are our commitment to coaching you with credibility and care. We pair that science with the art of coaching the whole human and what StrideHers walk away with is a level of understanding and autonomy in their abilities.

We built StrideHer to last. To outlast a client's time with us. To outlast generations. To be the thing women talk about at dinner tables and in run clubs for years to come. We didn't build this for one race and done, we built it so women can move throughout their entire lives with joy, confidence, and a body that keeps showing up. That same philosophy applies to how we work. We created a dynamic, creative, meaningful coaching environment where our coaches can do their best work and build real impact without burning out.

05 — Joy in Movement

Not everyone around you shares the obsession, and that's okay. The people we love aren't always into fitness, health and running as much as we wish. At StrideHer we are a part of the obsession, the "nerding" out on all things running & we bring together like-minded women who do too. Women who are focused on their personalized training, constantly growing, learn new things, and are committed to becoming the most grounded, well-rounded, healthiest version of their running selves. Here the obsession is welcomed.

This thing should be FUN. Full stop. We bring creativity and innovation into everything we build, run routes that take you somewhere in your community you've never been, workout styles you didn't know existed, movement you fall in love with before you even realize it. We want you to look forward to the parts of training you perhaps never enjoyed before. To experience running and racing for joy without the hold backs. To feel genuinely good in your body. Because a lifetime of joyful movement is the whole point — and we never lose sight of that.

Our values

better than in-person coaching

Why what we built works

StrideHer was designed to deliver more than in-person coaching ever could — more impact, more change, more results for every woman we work with. In-person coaching is limited by time, location, schedule conflicts, sick kids, and vacations. One missed session becomes two. Life gets in the way and momentum disappears. I coached in gyms for seven years before building this company, and I saw it happen over and over again. There had to be a better way.

Daily messaging. Weekly plan updates. A coach who reads your session comments the same day and adjusts tomorrow's training accordingly. A kinesiologist who watched your movement assessment video and continues to build your entire program around what she saw. Bi-weekly calls where there's no recap needed because your coach already knows everything.

This is not coaching you consume once a week. This is coaching that lives in your pocket, shows up every day, and compounds over time into the strongest, most resilient version of you as a runner.

The research is catching up to what we already knew, consistent, high touchpoint, personalized coaching produces better outcomes than sporadic in-person sessions. We built the platform, the team, and the systems to deliver that to every woman who runs, anywhere in the world.

Raising the standards for run coaching

peek inside our coaching 👀

We've made something built to last

We are relentlessly obsessed with making online coaching better. Not just better than what's out there, better than what we delivered last month, last season, last year. Every run exercise video, every coaching response, every platform update, every resource we build exists because we asked ourselves one question: does this actually serve our women better?

The result is a coaching experience so involved, so present, and so personal that our athletes stop thinking "what should I do?" and start thinking "what would coach say?" and they already know the answer.

That's the standard we hold ourselves to every single day, this is our full time pursuit and we've impacted hundreds of autonomous runners!

When you apply for coaching your intake information helps us match you with the coach best suited to your goals, your life stage, your injury history, and your personality. Also based on your timezone, we have coaches on opposite sides of the world (Coach Destiny) so for coaching you may be an ideal match should she have availability!
